We review new features and layouts with accessibility in mind and fix issues as we discover them. ConvertReference performs an annual audit of key page templates and core interaction flows against WCAG 2.2 AA, updating any areas that fall short and documenting what has changed. Where possible, we also use automated checks and real-world feedback to catch regressions early, so improvements to performance or design don’t come at the expense of accessibility.

Accessibility at ConvertReference
We want ConvertReference to be fast, clear, and usable for as many people as possible, including people using assistive technologies. Accessibility is a core requirement for how we design and build our tools, not an afterthought.
Standards and Practices
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA across our site and each for our converter pages. In practice, this means:
-
Clear structure with proper headings, labels, and landmarks
-
Keyboard-accessible navigation and controls
-
Sufficient color contrast and readable typography
-
Descriptive alternative text for important images and icons
-
Avoiding relying on color alone to convey meaning
